PROJECT LOVE
Project Love is not a program, it’s not a group and it’s not just a catchy slogan. It is the undercurrent at Metro Life Church whereby we believe that God has called us to change the world we live in. Whether by local outreaches to the Miami community by serving at The Miami Rescue Mission, Ronald McDonald House, Miami-Dade Homeless Trust and His House Children’s Home, or internationally with our support of missionaries in Germany and mission trips to Cuba, Mexico and Nicaragua, Project Love is our way of becoming the hands and feet of Christ. Here at Metro Life, Project Love happens every time someone chooses to serve a need out of existence. We have decided to change the world and you can be a part of it…one project at a time!
CUBA MISSIONS
Metro Life has been serving the people of Cuba since 2010. Metro Life has helped train over 400 Pastors in Cuba to preach & teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Metro Life, through its partnership with Churches in Covenant has been able to purchase a 15 passenger van for Pastor Faustino Brennan that he uses to reach the island. In 2013, our church purchased a xerox machine for Bethel Church in Cuba, so that they can now create and mass produce their own teaching material. In 2014, our church conducted a conference on the Holy Spirit for Pastors all over this nation. We have also begun the process to replace ceiling fans and lighting in the church’s main sanctuary.
MEXICO MISSIONS
Metro Life Church is partnering with “Your Brothers House” in Tijuana Mexico to provide a Biblical learning center that will attract people of all ages by awakening their hearts the understanding that God loves them and has a plan and purpose for them. Our hope is that by supporting this mission house we can be a part of impacting a community!
NICARAGUA MISSIONS
Metro Life has been sowing into the people of Nicaragua since 2005. We have partnered with Elevate Church, a local church in Managua, pastored by David & Claudia Albrecht by helping grow churches, schools, feeding programs and orphanages one relationship at a time.
Over the years we have also partnered with an elderly feeding program, an orphanage and a local church in Diriamba, supplying toiletries and clothing, working on several construction projects, and conducting outreach programs for children and youth.
